Know Your Limits

Description

These T-Shirt motives/caricatures represent only a few number of daily sins mankind does to the animal world.
The questions below are some of the pity reasons why.

I guess most of you didn't really thought about it, or ignored it, as I did, and in my opinion this is because organizations like peta and others, who point these facts, do it way too radical for most of us to even believe that these are NOT individual cases, but daily business..

I hope someday more artists find a more subtle way to ensure that these sad truths creep into our lives, just as ignorance did.

My first impression is… well not there. It’s impossible to analyze such a piece of art with only one glance and then tell my opinion. However, what I can do is take it piece by piece, break it apart and serve it for dinner at a moody table.
First of all, the emotions that slither into my chest as I stare at this. I can feel disgust settling in as a basement for the house of feelings this builds, I can’t deny it, the more I stare, the more I feel like looking away, yet can’t.
Next, this, at least to me, sends a message, a satire on today’s population. How to read this message? Well first of all I could easily attribute these to the scantly clad, large breasted females that dominate today’s media, all three of the caricatures representing a piece of what makes these… due to the lack of a better term, humans, what they are. These are all attributes attached to what the media today views as beauty, something which could not be more subjective, the concept of beauty changing across history and across nations, but I’m rambling.
The caricatures themselves are well executed, giving away an air of simplicity, hiding behind the complex details that can be seen once one actually dares to stare at them for a longer duration.
All in all, a well rounded piece of art, well done.
